UCT 2008: #1 Provider Of Essential Information To Underground Utilities

New program innovations and upgrades promise to provide the best education and information opportunity of 2008 at the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT) when it returns to the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA on Jan. 29-31.

UCT will focus on the complete underground infrastructure industry. The event features the latest machinery, products and services targeted to meet sewer/water, utility and engineering challenges. Scores of comprehensive presentations as well as pre- and post-show workshops, association/organization meetings, specialty conferences and much more are regular features at UCT, including countless opportunities to network in an amiable setting.

UCT’s educational program is led by prominent industry leaders who offer realistic approaches in handling workplace challenges. The program delves into important issues facing the industry and provides workable solutions based on past experiences. Audience participation is encouraged and no question will be left unanswered. The program includes opportunities for those who qualify to earn Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours (PDH) credits through their attendance.

Because the event marks the first major meeting of the year, industry leaders traditionally schedule a host of special meetings in conjunction with UCT. Other educational programs have been specifically designed for UCT including a WaterWorks Conference, on Jan. 29-30 featuring well-known experts who will share their insight into the water infrastructure market.

New educational programs for 2008 will include an HDD Summit, Asset Management, Quality Assurance/Quality Control For CIPP Installations, and Voices From The Field: Real Pipebursting, In The Real World.

New Products & Technologies

The exhibit hall will contain more than 400 booths with many state-of-the-art innovations and equipment designed to improve efficiency and profitability in an increasingly competitive market. Based on past events, organizers expect nearly 3,000 people will attend UCT.

UCT is owned and produced by Oildom Publishing Company of Texas Inc. For exhibitor or registration information, go to www.uctonline.com, or contact Karen Francis, convention manager, (281) 558-6930, ext. 222, kfrancis@oildom.com.
